Good morning, I have reading this morning from the Divine Science Daily Studies by Pansy Cantrell, born 1898, who was a minister, practitioner, and teacher in Belleville IL and Tulsa OK. Her birthday was June 24th.
THE SILENCE
"Take time to be holy, be calm in thy soul"
(lyrics by William Longstaff to a traditional Irish hymn)
Think of the Silence as the “springboard of creation." Here the Divine moves into incarnation—all that God is comes to a point in you as an individual. The qualities of God released through you become a reality to you, and you become consciously aware of your divine unity. You so merge and become one with the Father-Mother God that you realize this Oneness and spontaneously declare:
I am still in the Presence of God, the only Presence, Power, and activity;
and God is here at the center of my being
as the presence, power and activity I am now expressing.
While this goes on within you, anything can and may happen. Quoting the words of Dr. Irwin Gregg: “The greatest things in life and the most awe-inspiring performances of Being are born and performed in silence. True spiritual release comes in the Silence and is the divine life within coming to free activity and expression in all our voluntary powers.”
There are many more beautiful and constructive ideas to be found in the Silence than have ever been taken out of it. Truly the eye has not seen and the ear has not heard, nor has it entered into the heart of man, all the good and beautiful things (ideas) in the Mind of God, waiting to be revealed in the Silence.

Meditation:
Now I invite you to prepare to go within for a short time of meditation, getting comfortable, closing your eyes, turning your attention to your breath, gently noticing the in-breath and the out-breath… feeling the coolness of the in-breath and the warmth of the out-breath… allowing the breath to sink down into the belly with each in-breath… expanding the belly with each in-breath and contracting the belly with each out-breath… coming into the present moment through the breath now, completely awake and aware…
God is omnipresent. God is present everywhere, all of the time. There is nowhere where God is not.
As I breathe, I feel the presence of God within me.
God is in the breath, breathing me. God is breathing me.
As I breathe in and breathe out, I experience the breath of God, right here, right now, within me and all around me.
God is closer than my breath. God is the essence and the all of me. I am always in God. I live and move and have my being in God.
God is the source of all of my ideas.
As I sit in the silence, Divine ideas are revealed to me.
God wants me to have these Divine ideas that I can express in the physical realm.
As I am quiet I can hear the voice of God, speaking to me in the silence.
God is my source and my sustainer.
God is omnipresent, present right now in me and as me.
I am a Divine idea in the mind of God.
We now go into silence, listening to the voice of God.
Now, having rested in the silence, I invite you to bring yourself back to awareness of the body, feeling grateful for God’s presence within you, grateful that you live and move and have your being in God. And so it is!
