Ye shall know the Truth and the Truth shall make you free. –John 8:32

The above Bible quote is a cause-and-effect sentence. If you know the Truth, (cause), then the Truth will make you free (effect). Jesus came here to teach us and this is one of his primary teachings. No longer do we have blind faith, but move into understanding faith; there are conditions we have to meet if we want to be free – mentally, morally, physically or financially.

“Know the Truth!” But what is Truth? It is not the relative truth, or facts of humankind, as these change according to man’s conditioning and thinking. The Truth of God is eternal, immutable, absolute.

When we look out through human eyes, we see a world in chaos. When we can look through God’s eyes, we know the Truth and help to free ourselves and perhaps even others to get back into their oneness with God. It takes people who are willing to raise their consciousness, to see as God sees, in order to truly help the world and bring God’s perfect kingdom into total manifestation on Earth.

Affirm: Today I look through appearances and see God’s good in everything.

Meditation - Good

We shall now move into a meditation on good. Let us turn inward to our holy temple. As we breathe to acknowledge God - Infinite Spirit; inhaling love, and exhaling love. Taking in and releasing, receiving and giving love and more love. We quiet our thoughts now and be still and know.

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him!” - Psalm 34:8

God is Good, and God’s goodness is everywhere present. God claimed all that was created as good and very good. I am made in the image and likeness of God, therefore I too am of God’s goodness. Goodness then is my true nature.

I am is good and very good. (Repeat)

God’s goodness is alive in all creation both invisible and visible. Goodness is an aspect of love, kindness, generosity, harmless, helpful and purity of intentions. I can gaze upon a rock and see its purity - it is just being God’s goodness in expression. This is also true of every star shining brightly in our nighttime sky. Our very planet is wholly good right down to its core, its atmosphere high above, and all living things large or small - all God’s goodness in expression. I live in goodness; all that is around and within me, both visible and invisible is good and very good. (Silence)

Let us take a moment to let joy fill our hearts and give thanks for these moments in communion. Thank you, Divine Presence. And so, it is!
