Good morning! I have a reading for you this morning from the Divine Science Daily Studies titled:

DIVINE SUBSTANCE from our friend

Bishop Durrell Watkins, D.Min., Senior Minister

Catherine Ponder wrote, “Never underestimate the power of substance. It underlies everything in your world, and it is controlled by your ideas about it.”

Protestant theologian Paul Tillich referred to God as “the ground of being.” That may be another way of saying “substance.” God (Goddess, Mind, Spirit, the One Power…pick a name that appeals to you) is our Substance. We are made from God-stuff. We are inspired, to the degree that we are open to inspiration, by God-ideas. God-life is living Itself through us. When I think of my substance as being divine, then I know that from my divine Substance comes perfect supply, perfect vitality, perfect wisdom, perfect love, perfect joy…my needs are being perfectly met because my Substance is perfect (as it must be since it is divine!).

As I declare and believe that Divine Substance is really all there is, I become open to better experiences, more peace, more happiness, more achievement, and more fulfillment.

I am, as Emerson said, part and parcel of God. There is only one Substance, and it is All Good. Let the blessings now flow in greater abundance!

Meditation:

Now I invite you to prepare to go within for a short time of meditation, letting go of worries or concerns for this time, getting comfortable, closing your eyes with your inner gaze raised to the center of the forehead, turning your attention to your breath, gently noticing the in-breath and the out-breath… feeling the coolness of the in-breath and the warmth of the out-breath… allowing the breath to sink down into the belly with each in-breath… expanding the belly with each in-breath and contracting the belly with each out-breath… coming into the present moment through the breath now, completely awake and aware…

I am a Divine Expression of God…

God is my Substance…

God-life is living itself through me…

My Substance is Divine…

My mind is God mind…

Perfect supply flows forth to me from my Divine Substance…

Perfect vitality flows forth to me from my Divine Substance…

Perfect Wisdom flows forth to me from my Divine Substance…

Perfect Love flows forth to me from my Divine Substance…

Perfect Joy flows forth to me from my Divine Substance…

I open my mind to inspiration from Divine ideas…

My needs are perfectly met in every moment by my perfect Divine Substance…

There is only one Substance and that Substance is all good…

I now allow blessings to flow into my life in greater abundance…

Divine Substance is all there is…

We will now go into silence for one minute, resting in the Divine…

Now, having rested in the silence, I invite you to bring yourself back to awareness of the body, feeling gratitude for the Divine Substance that is your very life and the Divine Blessings that flow into your life from that Substance in every moment. And so it is!

I invite you to go into the silence of meditation daily to experience the joy and goodness of your Divine Substance.
