Reading & Meditation on Oneness by Rev. Teresa Stuefloten, M.Div., 9/20/2026

Good Morning! This is Rev. Teresa. I have a reading for you this morning from the September 15 Divine Science Daily Study by -Rev. Jeff Radcliff ~ Cumberland Furnace, Tennessee, titled:

The Mystery of New Thought/Ancient Wisdom

"The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the revealed things belong to us and to our children forever, to observe all the words of this law."

Deuteronomy 29:29

The Roman Catholic Church teaches that a mystery is unknown, secret, or hidden knowledge that remains unknown until God reveals it.

In the same way, New Thought/Ancient Wisdom contains a mystery. We teach that Spirit is not only omnipresent but is Omnipresence Itself.

As we look around at the world through our finite vision, most people think of themselves as separate from the trees, the birds, the clouds, the wind, and even intangibles such as health, wealth, joy, peace, and contentment. Yet God is each of these things. There's no separation, regardless of what our finite senses try to tell us. If Spirit is the only thing present, then I am all that God is, because God is me. Therefore, the tree and I are one. The birds and I are one. My health and my wealth, my joy, peace: I’m one with all these by virtue of being an expression of Divinity, even though it looks like I'm separate. This is the mystery of New Thought/Ancient Wisdom, and this mistaken idea of separation can be dispelled through our daily meditation and communion with Spirit as us. Spirit reveals the Truth to us, and only then can we know the mystery, because we are the mystery. We are God in expression. Mystery solved!

Meditation:

Now I invite you to prepare to go within for a short time of meditation, letting go of worries or concerns for this time, getting comfortable, closing your eyes with your inner gaze raised to the center of the forehead, turning your attention to your breath, gently noticing the in-breath and the out-breath…feeling the coolness of the in-breath and the warmth of the out-breath… allowing the breath to sink down into the belly with each in-breath… expanding the belly with each in-breath and contracting the belly with each out-breath… coming into the present moment through the breath now, completely awake and aware…

God is. I am. We are One…

God is expressing as me…

I am one with God…

God is expressing as all that is…

I am one with all that is…

I am one with the sky…

I am one with the clouds…

I am one with the wind…

I am one with the trees…

I am one with the birds…

I am one with the ocean…

I am one with the whales and the dolphins…

I am one with all beings…

I am one with my health…

I am one with my wealth…

I am one with my joy…

I am one with my peace…

I am one with my contentment…

I am one with my love…

I am one with all that is…

I am one with God…

God is. I am. We are One…

We are one… We are one… We are one…

We rest in the silence now for one minute…

Now, having rested in the silence, I invite you to come back to awareness of the body, feeling rested and whole. Daily meditation brings us into our oneness with God and all that is. Turn within to the silence of Divine oneness daily. And so it is.
