Good Morning! This is Rev Teresa. I have a reading for you today from the September 19 Divine Science Daily Study by Harold P. Ganss, Jr., 1930 - 1994, who was a Divine Science minister, in Washington DC

TAKE THE FIRST STEP

What is the first step in accomplishing our heart's desires?

Frustration, despair and worry are not the answers--they merely delay the good that is in store for us. Yes, the first step in demonstrating our wishes is to see it already done in our minds. If you wish to do something -- you can either see yourself unable to do it, or KNOW that with the help of God you CAN. To accomplish this, you must envision yourself completing the desired activity easily and without straining or striving of any kind, and it WILL be done.

You must believe in yourself and not sell yourself short at any time. You are a child of God, and God created you whole and perfect, giving you the power of choice. Choose a life of peace, harmony and love each day and see how much brighter and happier the day seems to you. When you use the power and wisdom of God daily, your accomplishments will certainly be unlimited and never ending.

Affirm: Today I thank God for the good that is mine this very moment.

Meditation

Now I invite you to prepare to go within for a short time of meditation, letting go of worries or concerns for this time, getting comfortable, closing your eyes with your inner gaze raised to the center of the forehead, turning your attention to your breath, gently noticing the in-breath and the out-breath… feeling the coolness of the in-breath and the warmth of the out-breath… allowing the breath to sink down into the belly with each in-breath… expanding the belly with each in-breath and contracting the belly with each out-breath… coming into the present moment through the breath now, completely awake and aware…

I am a Divine expression…

I am a child of God…

God created me perfect, whole and complete…

God has given me the power of choice…

I have the power to choose a life of peace each day…

I have the power to choose a life of harmony each day…

I have the power to choose a life of love each day…

I can choose to use the power and wisdom of God daily…

When I choose love, peace and harmony my day is brighter…

When I choose love, peace and harmony my life is happier…

I release all frustration, despair and worry…

I do all that is mine to do effortlessly with the help of God…

I see every task completed before I even begin…

I see myself as successful, always in the Divine flow…

We will now go into silence for one minute, resting in the Divine…

Now, having rested in the silence, I invite you to bring yourself back to awareness of the body, feeling gratitude for the Divine love, peace, harmony, power and wisdom that are yours as a child of God. You can do anything you believe you can do with the help of the Divine. And so it is!
