Good morning! I have a reading for you this morning from the Divine Science Federation International Daily Studies, August 22.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.

–Luke 8:48

Plato once said: “Neither ought you to attempt to cure the body without the soul; for the reason why the cure of many diseases is unknown to the physicians of Greece is because they are ignorant of the whole, which aught to be studied also, for the part can never be well unless the whole is well.” (End of quote)

Positive attitudes and emotions contribute to the building of a health consciousness. Learn to meet fearful situations with faith, and to dismiss doubts with reassurance. Health is divinely normal, an eternal verity, not to be created but realized.

Better than the periodic need for healing is the established consciousness of health. Even better than the belief that one can be healed is to live always in the realization of perpetual newness of life. Healing goes much deeper than the getting rid of a particular problem. It is a whole-making process, always at work within us, awaiting our recognition and agreement. By turning to the divine Presence within, we let the direct action of Spirit move through our lives, making us whole in all ways.

Affirm: There is one perfect Spirit of integrity working in and through me, expressing its harmonious nature in mind, body, and affairs.

Meditation

Now I invite you to prepare to go within for a short time of meditation, letting go of worries or concerns for this time, getting comfortable, closing your eyes with your inner gaze raised to the forehead, the spiritual eye, turning your attention to your breath, gently noticing the in-breath and the out-breath… feeling the coolness of the in-breath and the warmth of the out-breath… allowing the breath to sink down into the belly with each in-breath… expanding the belly with each in-breath and contracting the belly with each out-breath… coming into the present moment through the breath now, calm and peaceful, completely awake and aware…

Right now, as I am breathing, breathing the breath of God, I am perfect, whole and complete in God. 2x

Right now, as I am breathing, breathing the breath of God, I feel the Light of God that infuses my physical body, every cell glowing with perfect wholeness. 2x

Right now, as I am breathing, breathing the breath of God, I feel the Light of Spirit that infuses my mind with the infinite peace that passes all understanding. 2x

Right now, as I am breathing, breathing the breath of God, I know that the Divine Perfection of the Truth of my Being is manifesting as physical form. 2x

Right now, as I am breathing, breathing the breath of God, I know that I am a Divine Being, perfect whole and complete in God. 2x

We now move into one minute of silence, experiencing the Truth within…

Now, having rested in the silence, I invite you to bring yourself back to awareness of the physical body, grateful for the knowledge that you live, move and have your being in God, perfect whole and complete. You are a light in this world. Going within daily in meditation you kindle your high vibration of love and light.

And so it is!
