Today’s reading is from the Divine Science Daily Studies by Dr. Lucile Frederick 1902-1994, Minister, Educator and DSFI leader, at Denver, CO. I was fortunate to have her as my teacher for the Practitioner course back in 1984.

GOD’S GRACE

“God is bound to act, to pour Himself into thee, as soon as He shall find thee ready.” (Meister Eckhart)

God’s grace is not something mysterious and apart from us. It is the omnipresence, the omniscience, the omnipotence, and the omni-action of God, expressing through the living Christ in our own souls. Understanding and healing come in the ratio of our ability to unify ourselves with our Source. We are not separate, isolated fragments of life; we are centers of Divine Life. Each must find his own Christ center. Another cannot do it for us; but how wonderful it is to know a truth that sets us free. And when we know this truth, a metamorphosis takes place in our lives. It is the end of one form of thinking and being and the beginning of a new form and way.

We cannot escape God’s grace, for we abide in it daily. But let us awaken to its presence and perfection in our lives and affairs. Many have been healed by knowing, accepting, and unifying with this beautiful Truth.

Affirm: Today I acknowledge and give thanks for the grace of God in my life.

Meditation - (Grace)

We will now go into meditation on Grace. I invite us to turn inward to our Holy Temple, that sacred place within us, and acknowledge God, Infinite Spirit as our very breath; the life giving breath.

I breathe in the life of God, Infinite Spirit...

Every breath gives life to every cell of my body, renews my mind, and restores my entire being...

With every breath I am renewed moment to moment...

All there is, is God and the activity of God in expression. I am a living expression of God, made in its image and likeness - pure Spirit in expression. I am aware of the presence of God within and all around me.

I live in God’s Grace. (Repeat)

Every day in every way I am touched by God’s grace in my life. I receive guidance and inspiration. I receive nourishment that strengthens my mind, body and soul. I live in a world filled with beautiful creations. The music I hear with my ears and through my mind. All touching my heart, my soul. I am so grateful to have so much grace. My spirit soars in delight. (Silence)

As we bring our attention back from these moments in silent communion, let our hearts be filled with gratitude. With a full heart we say, Thank you, God. So it is, Amen!
