As we light our Advent candles, we are reminded this is our spiritual journey of the Christ Consciousness unfolding and expressing through us. Today we shall relight within our hearts our first candle representing Hope.
This second week of Advent is about faith. The following is from Luke 1:38: “Mary said, Here I Am, a handmaid of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word. And the angel went away from her.”
Then in verses 45-47: “And blessed is she who believed; for there will be a fulfillment of the things which were spoken to her from the Lord. And Mary said, My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.”
We shall now light within our hearts the 2nd candle of Faith.
Faith is like breathing. Before we inhale do we question if the air will be there? No! We just simply breathe with ease and grace. This week as we pray, we keep in mind the faith that brings forth miracles, that heals and restores life, that moves mountains. Remembering that believing is seeing. Let us affirm, “My faith is strengthened by remembering Christ within me, and in everyone everywhere.” I can truly say, “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my savior.”
Meditation on Faith
We shall now move into a meditation on Faith. Relax as we turn inward to our Holy Temple - that sacred place within us.
“There is one Lord, one faith, and one baptism; One God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all of us.” Eph. 4:5-6
One Presence that is everywhere. A Divine Infinite Spirit that is right here, right now and everywhere. Being inclusive of all life manifest and unmanifest. Then I am of this all living Spirit of God. I live and move individualized and as One in God. Individualized as the Christ, the light within, and is my faith, love, strength and guidance. Christ within me is my true light, and I let this light shine.
I am a shining bright light in this world. (Repeat)
Our Christ light is the fulfillment of our faith. Truly all is light. Behind the seeming darkness is the brightest light. Like the clouds that cover our earth, the sun is shining ever brightly. Even in the darkest times I know there is a rainbow to come, a greater good to unfold, a brighter light to unveil. In faith I keep moving my feet knowing each step unfolds the next. Life is a promise of more life. Death is an awakening to more life. My faith sustains me, strengthens me as I discover who and what I am as a Christ Being. (Silence)
As we come out of the silence, let us give thanks for any new realizations of our Oneness. Thank you God, and so it is!
