Reading & Meditation (Abundance) 9/22/2024

Today I’m sharing from the Divine Science Daily Studies volume II. This reading is written by Martha Dawson.

“Behold, here I am.” Genesis 22:1. This was God’s message to Abraham millenniums ago. These words are just as true today as they were then.

We are all members of God’s family. Each is divinely related to all others and God is our ever-present Father. There is no closer tie, one to another, than that between members of a caring family tenderly enfolded under the wing of a loving Father.

There are no stepchildren in God’s family, for each belongs with full recognition. Every now and again we have sudden flashes of knowing who we are. No one need tell us at such a time that we are an innate part of our Father’s household, that we belong in this splendor and beauty.

God’s constant presence insures our good. He has already provided everything for us. All the joys of heaven and earth are within our grasp, but we must reach out to secure this abundance. What could be more fair? This is our challenge.

We look up with determination to claim our own, closing our eyes to illusion. As we knowingly become one with our Father-God, He assures us of His presence. Rejoice, for God is here!

Meditation

We shall now move into a meditation on abundance. Turn inward to our holy temple connecting mind and heart, and take these words within us.

Omnipresent, Infinite spirit of God is right here and now and everywhere present. This presence of God is a living spirit that embodies all creation and all life. Is individualized as the Christ, the light, of every soul. God is an ever-living presence in through and as my life here now and always.

I live in the abundance of God’s love. (Repeat)

God so loved the whole universe exploded into life. Prolific life. Life continues to bring forth more life. Life is bountiful! All of God’s creations are bountiful. Limitless expressions of life. The ever-expanding number of stars. Countless drops of water sustaining lakes, rivers, seas and oceans. The abundance of various minerals, vegetation and species of animal life that partake and share our beautiful mother earth. God’s ideas are infinite. God’s abundance is everywhere. I live in a flourishing world. All I ever need is already available in the here and now. I live in God’s ever-expanding abundance of love. (Silence)

Let us take a moment to let the joy of gratitude fill our hearts. Thank you Divine Presence for these moments of Oneness. So it is, Amen.
