Today’s talk is “You have it all!” For in truth, you already have the possibility for anything. When I say, “in truth”, I mean beyond the illusions, beliefs, and perceptions that we have conditioned ourselves to accept as reality. According to Quantum physics every possibility already exists as a probable outcome. So, the question becomes, “If all possibilities already exist, then how can I align myself with what I want to experience in my life?”

The first thing we are to look at, is in how we are doing the asking. Most people see something outside of themself, and are wanting it while feeling a sense of separation from it, as in undeserving, or a belief in scarcity. As long as we feel separate from our good, it will remain outside of our realm of experience.

The Bible gives us instruction, in Mark 11:24, Christ Jesus says, “Therefore I say to you, Anything you pray for and ask, believe that you will receive it, and it will be done for you.” The instruction here is 1st to ask, and the 2nd is to believe. Then we shall receive - and that’s it. Then we find Luke chapter 11:9 Jesus is explaining in more detail how to pray, “And I say to you also, Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.”

Then in verse 13, “So if you, who err, know how to give good gifts to your children how much more will your Father give the Holy spirit from heaven to those who ask him?” To me this clarifies the asking to more than material things, to matters of the spirit, such as, guidance, wisdom, and enlightenment. As Nona Brooks had said for a year before her healing “Closer to thee my God.”

Then in Luke 12:21-26, 29-31, “Such is he who lays up treasures for himself and is not rich in the things of God. And he said to his disciples, Therefore I say to you, Do not worry for your life, what you will eat; nor for your body, what you will wear. For life is much more important than food, and the body than clothing.

Observe the ravens; for they do not sow or reap, and they have no storerooms and barns; and yet God feeds them; how much more important are you than the birds? Who among you by worrying can add to his stature one cubit? So if you are not able to do the smaller thing, why do you worry about the rest? So do not be anxious about what you will eat or what you will drink, and let not your mind be disturbed by these things. For worldly people seek after all these things; and your Father knows that these things are also necessary for you. But seek the kingdom of God, and all of these things shall be added to you.”

So now back to the asking; is it pleading, No; is it wishful thinking, No. It is an attitude of gratitude. Birds sing before the sun rises as though they know in that quiet early hour that the new day will be coming forth, and so they begin to sing their prayer, their gratitude, and soon the morning sun rises.

We have learned in quantum physics, that all possibilities are already potentials, and then we pray them into our experience. Then what kind of prayer are we talking about? A prayer that realizes truth, that is filled with gratitude, and is affirming our good. A prayer that brings our thoughts, feelings and emotions into alignment or into agreement. This then is believing - knowing it is done.

In today’s world some believe asking implies to not have, or to be in lack. Asking is just a request, it is in how the asking is done. If the asking comes from a feeling of lack, then the wanting continues as the asking was amiss. When asked with confidence in receiving, then it is fulfilled. Such as, when eating at the dinner table and one asks, “Please pass the salt and pepper” it is quickly handed over. When there is no doubt in the receiving it is done.

In Jesus day, Asking, meant as if you already have it, a sincere knowing it is already done. Jesus went on and said, that you don’t even need to ask, but seek the kingdom of God. In Matthew 6:34, he adds “Take therefore no thought for the morrow; for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself.” Meaning we live in a state of grace where all our needs are met.

When we believe we are separate from our good, and our good represents all that we need for living, then we live in worry and fear, and close off the flow to our good. When we know that our good is part of us, our heavenly Father is within us, within our consciousness, our very fiber of our being, our source is within us. Then we are in a constant flow of receiving.

We are constantly praying forth according to our ability to receive. Thought is the mental, the idea to be expressed - to be materialized. Feeling is being that love, gratitude, and fullness. Then emotion is the power of moving energy, such as desire, a yes to life, and the action. The three keys to receiving; Thought, Feeling, Emotion. When all three are in alignment, then it is done accordingly. When we have little faith, our feeling and emotion are not congruent to be effective, we find our energy is scattered, and we receive accordingly.

We hear in New Thought teachings that every thought is a prayer, but it is more than thought – it must be charged with feeling, and the feeling brings forth emotion – moving energy – action. According to the Essenes we are in constant prayer as we sense, perceive, and express ourselves throughout our day.

The feeling of desired condition is an important part to attracting into our experience. When having to do with prosperity, to open the flow we give. To many this may seem strange. Most businesses when having financial hard times begin with budget cuts. Their whole focus is on the bottom line. But, have forgotten to first prime the pump – by first giving. Why give first? Because when we give out of gratitude for all that we do have; we feel plentiful, we feel good, we feel worthy, we feel connected to our flow of good.

For me personally, I do what Divine Science calls an affirmative prayer or prayer treatment. Beginning with acknowledging the Omnipresence of God, and identify myself with this Divine Presence and its attributes. I connect through my heart the Infinite Spirit that is within and all around me until I feel this presence throughout my whole being.

Then I reason out my fears, I clear them out by acknowledging the nothingness, temporariness, and non power of the appearance, and follow immediately with affirming what is the Truth. Then I rest in stillness of mind until I feel a fullness of all that is, a gratitude for all the good that already is, and for that which is to come. It is done! Then I may burst out in song of gratitude or praise filled with joy for all that is. Just because I love to sing. As in the Bible to “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”

When the answered prayer comes forth, I have even more gratitude as if a miracle has just happened, overflowed with joy. Once the prayer is done, it is best to keep this to one’s self for awhile, or not share with those who are non believers or like wet blankets and may create doubt in your faith.

Scientists have proven that invisible vibration makes its imprint in the visible world. The vibration we carry within our thoughts, feelings and emotions imprints on our world of experience. Remember there are countless possibilities to choose from – a daily moment to moment choice.

Author Gregg Braden, shares in his book, “The Isaiah Effect”, an experience of prayer he had with a friend that is Native American. The following story is abbreviated: Gregg’s friend David, announced “Today we pray rain.” They went out into the desert to a place where there was a circle of rocks – a medicine wheel. David explained that the power was not in the wheel of rocks, but serves as a place of focus for the one invoking the prayer. Think of the medicine wheel as a road map. A map between humans and the forces of this world.

He took off his shoes, walked around the circle in silence for 2-3 minutes. Then said “Let’s go, our work is finished here.” That afternoon the weather changed – after months of drought, it started to pour. The drought cycle was broken.

David doesn’t take credit, but knows prayer works. In his own words, David explains how prayer works, “The path between man and the forces of this world begins in our hearts. It is here that our feeling world is married to our thinking world. In my prayer, I began with the feeling of gratitude for all that is and all that has come to pass. I gave thanks for the desert wind, the heat, and the drought, for that is the way of it, until now. It is not good, it is not bad, it has been our medicine.

“Then I chose a new medicine. I began to have the feeling of what rain feels like. I felt the feeling of rain upon my body. Standing in the stone circle, I imagined that I was in the plaza of our village, barefoot in the rain. I felt the feeling of wet earth oozing between my naked toes. I smelled the smell of rain on the straw-and-mud walls of our village after the storms. I felt what if feels like to walk through fields of corn growing up to my chest because the rains have been so plentiful.

“The old ones remind us that this is how we choose our path in this world. We must first have the feelings of what we wish to experience. This is how we plant the seeds of a new way. From that point forward our prayer becomes a prayer of thanks for what we may have created. Creation is already complete. Our prayer becomes a prayer of thanks for the opportunity to choose which creation we experience. Through our thanks, we honor all possibilities and bring the ones we choose into the world.”

(End)

Let’s take a few moments to pray as David taught. First select a condition for this prayer...

Now connect with God, or Spirit within... Acknowledge spirit as your source... Be one with it...

Next be grateful for the experience or condition for its lesson, but know that it is time for it to come to pass... Its time is over. And, it is time to choose a new....

Begin to feel this new choice, this new condition or experience...

Expand upon it...

Use your imagination to see and feel yourself experiencing this new condition. Feel the joy and gratitude. Your thoughts, feeling, and emotions are now aligned to the new possibility.

And, now release knowing your prayer is done... Thank you God. So it is. Amen!
