Today's reading is from the Divine Science Daily Studies. It is written by Emmet Fox, well-known author and Divine Science minister, New York City.

Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you. – Matthew 7:6

Intelligence is just as essential a part of the Christian message as is love. God is love, but God is also infinite intelligence, and unless these two qualities are balanced in our lives, we do not get wisdom; for wisdom is the perfect blending of intelligence and love. Love without intelligence may do much undesigned harm—and intelligence without love may [result] in clever cruelty. All true Christian activity will express wisdom.

Never rely upon your own judgment to say who is ready for the Truth and who is not; but rely for guidance upon the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. If you are praying regularly every day for wisdom and fresh opportunities for service, the right people will be brought to you.

The quickest way to spread the Truth is by living the life yourself. Then people will notice the change in you, and they will come round of their own accord, begging [you] to share your secret.

Affirm: Today I pray for wisdom and opportunities to love.

Meditation

We shall now move into a meditation on Wisdom. Relax, get comfortable. As we close our eyes let us turn inward to our holy temple. Now bring our attention to our breath, breathing the love of God that sustains all life.

As I speak to take these words in for yourself.

I now open my mind and heart being receptive to Omniscience, God as all knowledge, wisdom and understanding. I being one with this Divine Presence of God have the infinite capacity to learn, be wise and understand.

I am ever learning, having greater wisdom and understanding of God. (Repeat)

God’s infinite intelligence lives in all creation both invisible and visible. Every atom, molecule, proton is alive and therefore is pure light of intelligence.

Our entire universe is ever expanding infinite intelligence. Our solar system and every planet moving perfectly together.

From the tiniest form of life, a single cell learns, grows and multiplies as intelligent life. This invisible intelligence becomes visible through its creations.

As spiritual beings we express our intelligence creatively through our knowledge, wisdom and understanding.

Christ in me is my source to understanding all the knowledge and wisdom of the ages. I am open to the light of the Christ. I now be still and listen within. (Silence)

Thank you, God, for these moments in silent communion of at-one-ment. Now let us bring our attention back to our breath, to our body, and be fully present.
