Good morning! This is Rev. Teresa. I have a reading for you this morning from the April 25th Divine Science Daily Study by
Rev. Dr. Craig Harris, Senior Minister
Quimby Memorial Church, Secaucus NJ
So Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call me good?
No one is good but One, that is, God.’
(Mark 10:18)
God is I Am and ... God is and I am. The I Am being God Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent; both personal and impersonal. The I am, is ourselves as one with God Omnipresent, Omniscient, and Omnipotent, but it is personal. We are one with God.
I am is a very powerful tool. Used correctly it can immediately lift you up into a higher, more spiritually fit state of mind, and in turn begin to make a difference in your daily life that is healthy and more gratifying. To state I am followed by a negative thought will drain your energy and bring forth that which is of the erroneous thoughts of duality. Choose your words wisely.
I am is the chosen name God has given to us all and God is the “I” of I am.
The original sin is to believe that we are separate from God. It sends us into a direction that is extremely limited and narrow. In this delusional state of mind, we think that God is in the image of us instead of the truth that we are in the image of God.
Know the Truth and it shall set you free. I am good, I am healthy, I am beautiful, I am love, I am peace, I am abundantly supplied, I am grace, I am creative, I am wisdom, I am joyful, I am light, I am life....
Amen
Meditation
Now I invite you to prepare to go within for a short time of meditation, letting go of worries or concerns for this time, getting comfortable, closing your eyes with your inner gaze raised to the center of the forehead, turning your attention to your breath, gently noticing the in-breath and the out-breath…feeling the coolness of the in-breath and the warmth of the out-breath… allowing the breath to sink down into the belly with each in-breath… expanding the belly with each in-breath and contracting the belly with each out-breath… coming into the present moment through the breath now, completely awake and aware…
As you listen to this meditation, take it in and inwardly say “yes,”
“Yes, I am.”
God is I Am…
I am one with God… Yes, Yes, I am…
God is and I am… Yes, Yes, I am…
I am one with God… Yes, I am…
God is Omnipresent, right where I am at all times, within and all around me…
I am a Divine Expression… Yes, I am…
I am perfect… Yes, I am…
I am whole… Yes, I am…
I am complete… Yes, I am…
I am healthy… Yes, I am…
I am life… Yes, I am…
I am love… Yes, I am…
I am lovable… Yes, I am…
I am beautiful… Yes, I am…
I am good… Yes, I am…
I am kind… Yes, I am…
I am capable… Yes, I am…
I am caring… Yes, I am…
I am a blessing… Yes, I am…
I am grace… Yes, I am…
I am peace… Yes, I am…
I am creative… Yes, I am…
I am wisdom… Yes, I am…
I am joyful… Yes, I am…
I am light… Yes, I am…
I am abundantly supplied… Yes, I am…
I am blessed… Yes, I am…
I am always one with God… Yes, I am…
We go into the silence now for one minute…
Now, having rested in the silence, I invite you to bring your awareness back to the body. Going forward, connect “I am” only with positive words about yourself. Remember that you are one with God, perfect, whole and complete, living, moving and having your being in God. Affirm only the highest Truth about yourself, your true Self. And so it is.
