Today I’m sharing from Divine Science Daily Studies by Rev. Dr. Sylvia Eriksson, Victoria Australia, titled I AM BORN OF SPIRIT.

Neglect not the gift that is in thee. Stir up the gift of God which is in thee.

--1Timothy 4:14, 2Timothy 1:6

Today I turn inward and give thanks to God for my very own gifts which God has implanted at the core of my being. Every breath I take gives me the gift of Life, every beat of my heart gives me the gift of God’s Love, every moment of the day I am expressing my indwelling Divine potential to benefit myself and all whom I meet.

St. Paul spoke many times of the gifts of Spirit. To the Galatians he wrote, “The fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance.” Galatians 5:22,23.

He told the Corinthians, “There are varieties of gifts but the same Spirit.” He also advised, “Strive for the greater gifts.” 1 Corinthians 12:4, 31.

I give thanks for the greater gifts and I turn inward with a prayer of gratitude for my growing spiritual awareness. I meditate upon my own unique God-given talents knowing that God’s gifts are infinite; the more I use my talents, the more I will find, for God’s Grace is never ending. The more I use my talents; the clearer will become my God-ordained purpose in life.

Every step I take today is energized and filled with the joy of knowing the Truth of my own being: I am born of Spirit, Spirit indwells me and I express all my Gifts of Spirit now!

Meditation - Gratitude

We shall now move into meditation on gratitude. Let us turn inward to our holy temple. As we breathe to acknowledge God - Infinite Spirit as the breath we take in and release. We quiet our thoughts and be still and know.

“I and the Father are One.” John 10:30

Infinite Spirit, Divine Presence, Creator God - Omnipresent, Omniscient, Omnipotent; is everywhere present as all knowledge, all power, all creation, is all good and pure love. Therefore, I am an expression of God’s love as life, intelligent, creative, good, loving and eternal. I am grateful for this expression of life. I am grateful to share my love, my talents, my gifts.

I am grateful to be a gift in this world. (Repeat)

Gratitude fills my mind and heart. I am grateful for all of God’s creations: Our sun that brings light and warmth; the air to breathe; the beautiful earth; smell of fresh rain, shelter and food; nature friends that bring so much joy; family and friends; work that fulfills and gives purpose to life; I am grateful for this body to experience life through. I am grateful. (Silence)

Let us take a moment to let the joy of gratitude fill our hearts. Thank you, Divine Presence. So, it is! Amen.
