Good morning! This is Rev. Teresa. I have a reading for you this morning from the May 18th Divine Science Daily Study titled:

FAITHFULNESS IN LITTLE THINGS

Well done, good and faithful servant!

You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things.  

(Matthew 25:21)

Jesus taught and demonstrated the principle of expansion of the kingdom of God through faithfulness in little things that in turn would qualify us to assume more responsibility in greater things.

Responding to the small opportunities and doing them well paves the way for the larger ones to unfold; for the larger opportunities are really only the sum of the smaller. We are always being prepared for challenges and opportunities that we know not of. Rather than run after them, we can prepare ourselves to handle them, for when the time is ripe, they will seek us. Instead of striving to succeed in an outward and visible way, we can focus our attention on the inward, spiritual grace that prepares us for Godly living. Having achieved that, we find our success is assured. All things needful will be granted.

It is that small bit of spiritual study engaged in daily that trains us in discipline and prepares our consciousness to receive the greater illuminations of Truth. It is the small act of loving kindness, the daily devotion to others that paves the highway of infinite Love, the manifestation of God's kingdom on earth.

Affirmation: As I stay attuned to the still small voice of God,

I arrive at my true place in life.

Meditation

Now I invite you to prepare to go within for a short time of meditation, letting go of worries or concerns for this time, getting comfortable, closing your eyes with your inner gaze raised to the center of the forehead, turning your attention to your breath, gently noticing the in-breath and the out-breath…feeling the coolness of the in-breath and the warmth of the out-breath… allowing the breath to sink down into the belly with each in-breath… expanding the belly with each in-breath and contracting the belly with each out-breath… coming into the present moment through the breath now, completely awake and aware…

I am a Divine Expression, made in the image and likeness of God.

I am perfect, whole and complete in God.

God is with me in every moment.

God’s Divine Love flows to me continuously.

I am always supported in every way.

There is a Divine plan for my life.

I am in this Earth life in a human body to learn and grow in Spirit.

As I stay attuned to the still small voice of God,

I arrive at my true place in life.

I look for ways to practice loving kindness.

I know that I am one with all life.

I am a channel for God’s Infinite Love to flow to others.

I am truly blessed and I look for ways to be a blessing.

Listening within I am Divinely guided in every moment.

We go within now for one minute of silence, listening to the still small voice of the Divine.

Now that we have rested in the silence, I invite you to bring yourself back to awareness of the body, feeling refreshed by the peace of the silence. The love, peace and grace of the Divine are always there in the silence, awaiting your presence. God’s invitation is always open. Make a date with God daily and your life will be truly blessed.
