My reading today is from Divine Science Daily Studies by Nona Brooks:

I GIVE THANKS DAILY FOR GOD’S ABUNDANCE

Supply is for all. It is man's limited vision that brings about conditions in which one is poor and another has more money than he can spend. There is no such thing as a special gift from God. God gives all…to each of us. And the difference between us is that some have appropriated more of these gifts than have others.

It is the complexity of human development, based ignorantly in the external, that brings into life those highly endowed and those who seem to be entirely without gifts. Yet all the while the Presence is radiating its fullness within each soul.

We see only in part. And so long as we see only a portion, like the Prodigal Son we receive only a portion, for we are capable of receiving only what we perceive. I do not say to God, “I beg you to give me air.” Why not? Because I know that all of the air is mine and that my part is to appropriate and use all that I can. Nothing limits me in my use of air but my lung capacity. So nothing limits me in other gifts except the capacity of my vision. Each lives, moves, and has his being in the infinite abundance. Infinite treasures are inexhaustible. Abundance is here! Accept it!

Trust in...the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy. –1 Timothy 6:17

Meditation - Abundance

We shall now move into a meditation on abundance. Relax, get comfortable, and close our eyes as we turn within to our holy temple. God, Infinite Spirit is present right here within me, all around me and everywhere. Even in every breath I breathe. Now let us breathe slowly breathing in the very life of God. Breathing in God, exhaling God...

All is God... All is good... All is unlimited here now and forever... All creation is of God and is of the same substance and nature - Infinite Spirit. I am of the very same nature and substance of God. God is bountiful

and as my source I too am bountiful. Everything I ever need is abundantly available. All my needs are fulfilled now.

I live in a generous, abundant world and I am grateful. (Repeat)

All creation is abundantly bountiful... This universe is ever expanding, the stars are countless. Every atom and cell of creation is countless. The multitude of life: minerals, plants, animals, spirit all God’s infinite creation.

God’s love, life and joy are infinite, eternal and expressing in through and as my Being. Let us rest in the silence....

Thank you Divine Presence for these moments in silent communion of at-one-ment. Now let us bring our attention back to our breath, to our body, and be fully present.
