My reading this morning is from our text Divine Science Its Principle and Practice page 117.

Within the thought of evolution is the recognition of a persistent urge in all living things to move on, to progress to new things and new experiences. Emerson says, “The creation is on wheels, always passing into something else, streaming into something higher.” There is something in the very nature of life that itself that compels it and its creatures to move on. Therre is an innate urge that speaks in every soul; aspirations in every human heart which indicate the evolutionary tendency of the universe. The indefinable Spirit which keeps us moving onward and upward is the great guardian of humanity. It forwards creation’s spiritual evolution for the purpose of ultimately bringing out all the hidden wonders and beauties of the God-Mind. For God holds all His ideas within His consciousness and is zealous for the development and fulfillment of their every potentiality.

Divine Science teaches that this creative drive is the God-idea, an infallible truth moving throughout all the created realms, and calls it the Christ principle. The Christ principle is the essential part of human nature. It is the fundamental God-idea of MAN imbedded within the spiritual constitution of that which appears to us as a human being. Christ is the truth that reveals and expresses the life, purity, perfection, and power of the perfect Mind.

In the heart of all humanity are stirring dreams, ambitions, visions which are of a higher order than man’s present material environment. The sources of such dreams and visions is the Christ principle stirring within him to make him aware of his true Self which is yet to be realized and manifested. This Christ within is the motive power which constantly pushes man toward higher evolvement.

Meditation

I invite you to get comfortable, relax, and close your eyes. Begin with some good deep breathing. Acknowledging every breath as the life and breath of God. The holy sacred breath that lives and moves your whole being igniting the Christ within. Pure love, radiant love.

“Be not conformed to this world, but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2.

Omnipresence; everywhere is this living intelligent all powerful presence we call God. God within, God throughout, God everywhere equally in you and me and everyone everywhere. This individualized expression within is my Christ nature - God realized, and expressing in and through my thoughts, words and actions. Christ resurrected within, the I Am that I Am, does the works; healing works, restorative works, generous and compassionate works, bringing forth greater expressions of love and life.

Colossians 1:27, Christ within you is the hope and glory. Christ within me is the hope and glory. The Christ

within me is the hope and glory.

The living Christ is shining forth as the foot prints of God on this earth, and as my life in all I touch. God’s invisible love brought forth through its living expressions. God’s invisible power of thought is made manifest as you, and me, and all living things throughout our universe; every planet, star, and beyond, both visible and invisible. This beautiful, wondrous life of love is within me, within my very heart and soul - the living Christ.

Let us bring our attention back to our breath our breathing. Stretch a little.
